Industrial Management

 

The Master of Science in Industrial Management is an interdisciplinary graduate program designed to prepare people for leadership and responsibility in modern industry.  It is for those who seek advancement through careers in supervision and management of employees in manufacturing and service organizations.

 

The primary focus of this program is operational management, which includes systems analysis, human and labor management relations, work place safety, environmental management, planning and control systems, quality assurance, organizational behavior, industrial economics, and global competitiveness.  This requires effective communication, critical thinking, decision making and interpersonal skills.

 

Opportunities for advancement in today’s technological organizations require both education and experience.  This degree provides the knowledge, skills and other attributes necessary to gain meaningful experience and thus move up an organization’s ladder.
